Wild Fruits

Wild fruits provided a nice addition to the staple diet of the Stó:lō people. Fruits such as rhubarb, plums, and crabapples could be picked prior to the fall and stored in a cool area for slower ripening. Wild fruits could be added to dried fish or meat, and other dried plant products.
