Mount Cheam is the northern peak of the North Cascades mountains in Eastern Fraser Valley. In the Stó:lō First Nation oral history, this peak is the old woman overlooking her children, Stó:lō people in the valley. The peak south from it is the woman's dog. Bridal Falls waterfall is her daughter.
