Secondary Level Teachers' Resources

This site features first hand video interviews with some of Canada’s leading scientists, excellent up to date diagrams and professionally crafted simulations and graphics created by the researchers at the Simon Fraser University Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology and Learning and Instructional Development Center. Original photographs of geological and archaeological sites are explained by the principal investigators and authors.

These data support learning modules in:

• glaciation,
• global warming,
• uniformitarianism,
• superposition,
• radiocarbon and other dating techniques.

They are suitable for enrichment activities in senior secondary level courses in geography and geology. Encourage your students to use these modules either as independent learning tools and study resources or create tailored lessons that use the materials to focus on specific topics in your curriculum.
