The production of textiles for warmth, decoration and clothing is a deeply meaningful and enriching activity for many Latin American weavers and textile producers. Today in British Columbia, Canadian weavers of Guatemalan descent keep their heritage and culture alive by practicing the ancient techniques that have been handed down over centuries.
